right from the Directorate of Health Services, Assam. According to
latest notification, Directorate of Health Services, Assam is going
to recruit total 541 numbers of Staff Nurses to appoint at the
various health institutions and Medical Colleges of Assam. This is
certainly a good news for the candidates who have completed GNM
Courses or B.Sc in nursing course. Take a glimpse on its requisite

Qualification
Candidates who have completed GNM
course or B.Sc in Nursing course from Assam Govt. Institution or
institution recognized by Indian Nursing Council and Assam Nursing
Council and registered under Assam Nursing Council.
Age of the applicant should be in the
range 18 – 38 years as on 1st January, 2013. The
relaxation of age for the candidates of reserved category is applied
as per rule.
How to Apply
Candidates need to apply in Standard
Form and have to submit in a sealed envelop writing clearly the name
of the post applying for and also must include copies of certificate
of passing GNM or B.Sc Nursing course, Registration Certificate under
Assam Nursing Council, age proof, caste certificate if applicable,
employment exchange registration number and one copy of recent
passport size photograph. Application must be sent to the following
office so that it reach on or before 4th December, 2013-
