Department of Biotechnology, IIT,
Guwahati invites applications for one post of Senior Research Fellow
or Research Associate and two post of Junior Research Fellow for the
projects “Studies on Structure of Enzymes and their interaction
with nano-structured material for bio-electronics devices and other
applications” and “Development of Bio-electrodes for Biofuel cell
applications”. The posts are all temporary.

Number of Posts : 1 for Research
Associate/Senior Research Fellow and 2 for Junior Research Fellow.
Eligibility :
For Research Associate : Applicant must
obtained Ph.D in Biotechnology or Bioelectronics.
For Senior Research Fellow : M.Tech in
Biotechnology or Bioelectronics with 60% marks or equivalent grade.
For Junior Research Fellow :
Applicants with B.Tech in Biotechnology or Bioelectronics and GATE or
M.Sc in Biotechnology with NET qualification are eligible for the
post.
In all case, preference will be given
to those candidates who have sufficient experience in enzymology or
protein chemistry or enzyme based electronics.
Renumeration :
For Research Associate : Rs. 22,000 per
month for first year, Rs. 23,000 per month for second year and Rs.
24,000 per month for third year.
For Senior Research Fellow : Rs.
18,000 per month.
For Junior Research Fellow : Rs.
16,000 per month. Additional HRA and Medical facility are available
as per institution's rule.

in an interview which will be held in the Conference Room of the
centre for energy on 17th July, 2013. Candidates have to
